Your handelsrutin

If your current handelsrutin consists of things such as t.ex. you check your smartphone to see how your current trading looks while you pour in you a double espresso to ”make up” the 5 hours of sleep you got yesterday, this article is for you.

The tips below will help you to build or adjust your handelsrutin so that you can shop from the calm and confident mindset that is required for a profitable trading …

1. Get at least 7 hours of sleep
Success starts with proper sleep. Adults need between 7 and 8 hours of sleep per night to function properly the next day. You can’t ”make up” lost sleep with caffeine or in any other way; your body will eventually force you to make up for the lost sleep and the time you spend in a sömnunderskott will be a time of deterioration of cognitive ability and the will be far away from your highest potential ability.

It need not be said that trading during the sömnunderskott will not work. Maybe it is the first and most important way to ensure a real handelsrutin by making sure that you get at least 7 hours of sleep per night.

Do not drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks until the afternoon.
Was not awake for long until the the night because you think you can sleep the next day. Research shows that our bodies work best when we go to bed and wake up with the sun. It means that the man goes to bed early and wake up early.
Creating a proper sleeping environment. Usually this means a room that is cold (i.e. not hot), dark and quiet.

2. Start your day with a healthy breakfast
Sometimes I hear people say ”I don’t have time for breakfast” or ”I don’t eat breakfast” and I feel immediately sorry for the because they simply don’t know what the science says about it.

Breakfast, as the old saying goes, is the most important meal of the day. You just woke up (you slept in, hopefully, 7, 8 hours) and your body is exhausted on the fuel that it needs in order to function properly. Have a healthy breakfast each morning, think; protein, whole grains, and some fruit … a cinnamon bun is, obviously, not what your brain and body need to function effective.

Drink a large glass of water as soon as you wake up. I drink a lot of water throughout the day. Water keeps you moisturized and also helps to control your appetite between meals and since your body consists mostly of water, it is just more meaningful that you should be drinking it more than any other beverage.

3. Regular exercise
Regular exercise is basically the key to be motivated, alert and focused at all in your life, including your trading. I notice personally is a big difference in how I feel when I’m not working out compared to when I trained regularly. Exercise makes us feel good both physically and mentally.

It can be difficult to keep a consistent fitness routine but I know you know how good it feels to be full of energy and be healthy, so the rewards are there to reinforce the plot, you just need to get started.

Getting started is usually the hardest part in life, and it is definitely true when it comes to training. Print a list of all the things in your life that will substantially improve with regular exercise and make sure that you add ”handelsprestanda” in the list. Regular exercise will keep you focused and purposeful and helps you sleep peacefully at night, and, as previously mentioned above, is crucial for proper cognitive function, which obviously is crucial for the success in the trade.

4. Have hobbies and a social life (avoid to be handelsmissbrukare)
One thing you don’t want to convert is a handelsreklam. You don’t want to be that guy who sits in his underwear in front of his figure, hope that business is good and lets each profit and loss affect the feeling of his happiness.

Trading is a way to potentially improve your life, but it should not be your life. In order to succeed with trading, you must have outside interests so that you are distracted from over-analysing the market and so that you can feel happy and secure.

If you don’t have any hobbies for the moment, find some. Join some club, start training etc

5. Start your trading day the night or the week before
Make sure you plan the week nyckelkortnivåer in the beginning of the week. Make some notes about the trend and the potential handelsuppställningar you see. Do it to your advantage – you will have an ongoing history of where the market has been, what it does and what it can do in the future.

6. Think positive
A positive line of thought is important in order to maintain discipline and stick to a handelsrutin. You can’t rage after a lost trade, you must be confident and motivated. Take a long-term view of your trading and know that your success or failure is not determined by a single trade or even a month on the market. It takes a big series of shops, typically over a year or more to see how your handelsprestanda really is. It means that you have to stick with your trading strategy and trading plan over the branschserie to really see if it works for you.

7. Master your trading strategy
It may seem obvious, but if you have not mastered your trading strategy or if you do not have a trading strategy, you can’t build up a handelsrutin. Many traders start out on the wrong track because they do not have any defined method of trading, but instead they have a collection of different methods and handelstips ”they have read here and there”.

You need a trading strategy that you can learn to master that is meaningful and simple.

8. Learn to love the routine’s discipline
Discipline, routine and patience are the things that people normally see as ”boring” but they should not be seen that way, especially when it comes to trading. You need to understand and accept that these things are crucial when it comes to money on the market.

One of the biggest problems that traders face is that they think the opposite of how they act. That is to say, that they see themselves in the market and actively think about it all the time and take in more and more market information.

When you change your mindset to agree with reality, you will love discipline, patience, routine and in turn become a successful trader.

9. Think ”simple”
Essentially, trading is something that is so easy överkomplicerat of people, you need to simplify all aspects of it so that you do not fall victim of överanalysering and överkomplikation.

Remove all indicators from your charts, learn to trade Price Action, simplify your handelskontor (you don’t need 3 monitors), and simplify your handelsprocess. To trade in a simplified way requires a very high form of intellect and self-reflection.

10. Get help from other traders
To learn other industries ‘ practices and approaches is an invaluable learning tool. Other people have managed to trade ahead of you and many may not succeed, but with trading, you can still learn a lot, especially if you are a beginner. Mistakes can be avoided and you can learn a lot faster if you get help from other traders.

Remember, trading should not be a random event, but there should be structure, solid strategy and routine behind it. You need to develop your own handelsrutin that fits your schedule and personality and then stick to it handelsrutinen with ice-cold discipline so that you can see if it works to your advantage.
