US initial claims for unemployment benefits rise significantly

FXStreet – The number of initial claims for benefits in the context of the US unemployment insurance is 13,000, to 248.000 increased. The previous week has been, meanwhile, is set to 1,000 to 235.000 to the top. Value for the moving four-week average, the U.S. labor Department said on Thursday, with 250,000 (last week: 235.500).

The number of unemployed who are insured, however, remained in the week to 20. May unchanged at 1.4 percent.

The result jobless claims fell in the week to 20. May 9,000 to 1.915.000.
