Oil prices fell sharply

A barrel of north sea oil (Brent) has now gone clearly below the 50-dollarstrecket. On the morning of Friday, the price of 46:83 dollars, minus 2.4 per cent compared with the day before.

The market ignored to a large extent from statistics from the Swedish energy agency EIA showed that U.S. crude oil inventories decreased by 6.3 million to during the last week to the lowest level since January of 2017.
